Dr. Andreas Schilling

I've spent my career building software and, more importantly, the teams and organisations that build it — from a handful of people in one room to engineering organisations of more than 50, with over 100 engineers hired along the way.

I keep coming back to the same few things: architecture and organisation have to be designed together, motivation and humility beat raw seniority, and speed of learning is a startup's real currency.

Today most of my attention goes to agentic software engineering: what actually changes when AI agents become part of how a team builds software. I build with agents myself, almost daily, and work out with engineering teams what that means at the scale of an organisation. I'd rather learn it first-hand than comment on it from the sidelines.

I'm also an active investor, mostly in listed tech companies, and open to supporting early-stage startups as an angel or advisor.
